WHO ARE WE?

We are not a church! We are a non-profit organization. We are a Helps Ministry to the Body of Christ and a Healing Ministry in the Marketplace. The doors of this ministry are open to all people of all ages and the ministry is free.

WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE?

Our mission is to help bring healing and restoration to all people and to help bring unity in the Body of Christ. We come alongside churches to help equip, empower, and mobilize believers to do the things Jesus did. Jesus said that those who believed in Him would do the same works He did (John 14:12 and Mark 16:17-18).

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?

Core Values of River of God Healing Ministries: These core values are the basic beliefs on which our organization is founded. Our management team adheres to these beliefs which causes unity and cohesion in the ministry.

  1. God’s Presence: We acknowledge that everything pertaining to life comes from spending time in God’s Presence (privately and corporately).
  2. Love: Love is our greatest aim in all we do. We love God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind and love others as we love ourselves.
  3. Holiness: We believe that God has called us to live holy lives that bring glory to Him.
  4. Honor: We believe honor brings life. Therefore, we cultivate high levels of respect and honesty in all relationships and speak with respect, even if we disagree.
  5. Integrity: Being an example of Christian living and having a good reputation are foundational for effective ministry and leadership. The qualities of our lives are based on the quality of our commitments.
  6. Worship: A lifestyle that embraces worship in all its forms as service to God, whether in the sanctuary or in ministry outreach in the marketplace. Our goal is to excellently represent our King Jesus and His Kingdom.
  7. Servanthood is essential to greatness in God’s Kingdom. Therefore, we strive to cultivate and demonstrate a true servant’s heart wherever we are.
  8. We create a culture where failure is a learning experience, not an identity, as we seek to walk in higher levels in Christ.
  9. We are called to encourage and support other churches/ministries and their leaders.

HOW YOU CAN INVEST IN RIVER OF GOD HEALING MINISTRIES?

The global healing and prayer movement has been in the heart of God for all time, but now is the time in which we are watching it unfold. The cost of this honored task is larger than any one group of people can uphold. We, at RGHM, are privileged to do our part as we serve the Lord’s purpose for this movement. In His wisdom, the Lord has ensured that the path to fulfilling this vision is through the Body of Christ coming together and building together as a family.

We are a non-profit organization (501c3) that focuses on healing, worship and prayer, and training Christian believers through the Healing Rooms of the Heartland and the River of God School of Ministry. In over 13 years of ministry, many people have been saved, healed and set free through the Healing Rooms ministries.

You can become a Partner in Ministry through:

  1. Praying for the ministry. We believe that prayer is the foundation of this ministry and we welcome your prayers!
  2. Becoming a Healing Team Member. We welcome people from regional churches to attend one of three team trainings that are conducted during the year. Prospective team members have a pastoral recommendation and are interviewed by the directors to complete the training process.
  3. Providing financial support. We welcome churches, businesses, and individuals to come alongside us to financially sustain this ministry to our region. This can be done through monthly, quarterly, annually, or one-time gifts. Checks can be made to River of God Healing Ministries, Inc. P.O. Box 287, Jackson, MO 63755.

Together, we can equip and mobilize believers to minister salvation and healing to people in our region and around the world!

TESTIMONIES:

The Healing Rooms have been a valuable resource to our treatment centers. The Healing Rooms team members have exceptional customer service skills, dealing with each situation with care and concern.

Presently drug addiction is the number #1 healthcare problem in the United States. We have tried to solve this problem by incarcerating millions of people for the past 30 years with marginal results. Alcohol and drug treatment centers have been unable to resolve the addiction problem also. Clients spend years coming in and out of treatment centers with little success in staying substance free. Gibson has adopted a comprehensive approach to treat substance us disorders. Many of our clients need spiritual healing. In the past 4 years, my staff and I have referred numerous consumers to the Healing Rooms. We have seen an increase of clients maintaining sobriety due to this innovative approach to treating substance use disorder.

The Healing Rooms of the Heartland is an asset to the community and to the Gibson Recovery Center, Inc. My counselors and I also utilize the services at the Healing Rooms. I recommend this ministry to you without reservation. If further information is needed, please feel free to contact me.

‘My left leg was not working. It wasn’t numb. It just wasn’t working. I thought I was having a stroke. My husband took me to the E. R. The test said no stroke. A scan in my back showed disc damage. After we left the E. R. we went to the Healing Rooms and received prayer. I had to have help walking in. During the prayer time, I chose to forgive someone who had hurt me. After the Team prayed most of the pain left! The next week I went back to the Healing Rooms and received my complete healing! Thank You, Lord! There aren’t enough words to say thank You enough!’

‘I was diagnosed with steatohepatitis, a fatty liver disease, when I was 42. The doctors were surprised that a person so young and who was not an alcoholic had that condition. I was asked to be in a study that Saint Louis University Hospital was conducting on the disease. I was monitored for 15 years and was on a medication they gave me. In the last few years (of the 15 yrs.) I went to SLUH every 30 days for biopsies of my liver. When the Healing Rooms opened, I decided to go and receive prayer. I went 4 or 5 times and each time different people prayed for me. Then it was time to go to SLUH for more biopsies. That time, the doctors sent me home with a brochure about liver transplants. To think that I was going to be facing a liver transplant really rattled me! But, the next day while I was at work, I received a call from one of the two doctors that had been monitoring me all those years. He asked me what I had been doing differently. I told him that there had been a lot of prayer going on for me. He said that it must have worked because I no longer had enough fat in my liver for the diagnosis of steatohepatitis! He said the other doctor had concurred with the review of my case as well! He said I was healed! I asked him if I could have a copy of their report which he mailed to me. I gave a copy of it to the Healing Rooms.’

‘My family came in the Healing Rooms to pray about a lot. We were dealing with a lot of outbreaks of ringworm that got in the hair shaft. We went from doctor to doctor. God gave us favor over getting us into sooner than a month! My kids are so precious….they used the anointing oil and prayer cloths and put it on their head as they prayed each night with us asking for healing. In three weeks new hair grew supernaturally! The doctors said 6 months! They tested and said the fungus was out of the hair shaft and the scalp and we just needed to wash it off and comb it out!! I was so grateful because I knew God relieved us of all this stress. It was my own nightmare internally. Thank you for having your doors open and your hearts and your spirit full of prayers!’

‘I went to the Healing Rooms and had them pray with me about unforgiveness. As they prayed for me, one lady told me that I was molested when I was young and that it wasn’t my fault. When she said that, I knew God had to tell her because I had never told anyone. To this day, no one in my family knows. I cried and felt a release when she said that. I was delivered from different things that day.’

The lady who shared this testimony told us to share it with people, but to withhold her name.

‘The vision for a healing ministry in the Heartland became a reality over 13 years ago. In January of 2005, the Healing Rooms of the Heartland ministry was established in Cape Girardeau under the calling and direction of Ben and Pam Ellis. They have personally trained and guided team members, adults and children, in this special outreach to transform lives. As a former team member, I was benefited by their tireless efforts to foster spiritual growth in team members, empowering them to minister to others. Through the years, countless prayers have been answered; hope has been restored to individuals seeking physical and spiritual healing for themselves and their loved ones. There is no limit to what God can accomplish in the hearts and lives of people when individuals obey God’s commission on their lives.’

‘Shortly after relocating from California in 1993, my wife, Fran and I met Pam and Ben Ellis who have had a major impact on our lives spiritually and continue to do so. They are deeply committed to Christ and avid to inspire and equip others to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit and participate in the growth of God’s kingdom on earth. Both Fran and I have had the privilege of serving in the Healing Rooms of the Heartland and have seen many lives healed and transformed.

I’ve known Ben and Pam since they moved to Marble Hill over forty years ago. They have always been public servants and in the healing business. Early on they both served the community in numerous volunteer capacities and Ben was in the healing business as the county’s only veterinarian. Healing and serving others has always been their calling. Now they’re doing so in the most enduring way as directors of the Healing Rooms of the Heartland. With a heart for Christ and a passion for people, Ben and Pam are helping America heal one person at a time. It has been my privilege to call them friends for many years. Indwelled with the Holy Spirit, and guided by God’s Holy Word, Ben and Pam have responded to God’s call and are what’s right about America.’

‘My name is Gary Brothers and along with my wife, Rose, we serve as the pastors of Cape First in Cape Girardeau, MO. I am writing this letter as a recommendation for the ministry of Dr. Ben and Pam Ellis who are currently the directors of the Healing Rooms of the Heartland ministry. We have known Ben and Pam for over 22 years and have had the privilege of serving them as pastors during that time. They are two of the finest people you will ever meet. They have impeccable integrity, and a love for people and the ministry of Jesus that is unparalleled. If you have a heart for ministering to hurting people, and a hunger for God, I would encourage you to take a close look at the ministry they are leading and seriously consider becoming involved in some way. You will be glad you did!’
